The KSE-100 index declined 3 points on Wednesday, closing at 9,179 points. Trading volume remained low with only 1.26m shares. The Karachi stock market failed to sustain previous session’s positive sentiment. Under the influence of international capital markets, volatility coupled with liquidity crunch in local market and selling pressure forced foreign investors to keep to the sidelines. Top performers of the day included UTPLCF, AASML, FFLM and SEL whereas top loser were PICL, PAEL, MZSM and STPL.
